SoundHalo ("we", "us", "our") operates an audio processing API accessible via HTTP. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle data when you use our services.
SoundHalo is designed as infrastructure for AI agents and developers. We do not require user accounts, and payments are handled via the x402 protocol using on-chain stablecoin transactions.
When you use the SoundHalo API, we process the following data:
Because SoundHalo uses x402 for payments and does not require accounts:
Audio files uploaded to SoundHalo are processed ephemerally:
SoundHalo may use third-party services for infrastructure and processing. These services process data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy policies:
Request metadata (IP addresses, timestamps, usage metrics) is retained for up to 90 days for operational purposes including abuse prevention, debugging, and capacity planning. After this period, data is aggregated and anonymized.
Audio content is never retained beyond the duration of a single API request.
Because we do not collect personal information or maintain user accounts, most traditional data subject rights (access, correction, deletion) do not apply. We do not have data to access, correct, or delete.
If you believe we hold any data related to you and wish to exercise your rights under GDPR, CCPA, or other applicable privacy laws, contact us at privacy@soundhalo.com.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the API after changes constitutes acceptance.
