By sending requests to the SoundHalo API ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. The Service is operated by SoundHalo ("we", "us", "our").
Because SoundHalo uses the x402 payment protocol and does not require accounts, your use of the API constitutes acceptance of these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
SoundHalo provides audio processing infrastructure via HTTP endpoints. Services include audio inspection, transformation, transcription, voice activity detection, speaker diarization, and composable processing pipelines.
The Service is designed for programmatic use by software applications and AI agents. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
SoundHalo uses the x402 payment protocol for all paid endpoints. Payment is made per-request using USDC stablecoin.
You agree not to use the Service to:
We reserve the right to block IP addresses or wallet addresses that violate these terms.
You retain all rights to audio files you upload and the outputs generated from them. We claim no ownership over your content.
By uploading audio, you grant us a limited, temporary license to process it for the sole purpose of fulfilling your API request. This license terminates when the response is returned.
We do not use your audio to train machine learning models or for any purpose other than fulfilling the specific request.
We target 99.98% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control.
Service status is available at the GET /health endpoint.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that results will be accurate, complete, or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SoundHalo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific request that gave rise to the claim.
The Service enforces rate limits to ensure fair usage. Limits are applied per IP address and may vary by endpoint. Rate limit details are included in response headers.

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
