Where is my recording processed? +
The file is uploaded to the SoundHalo API for cloud processing. Transcription uses an external speech provider. Review the privacy policy before uploading sensitive recordings.
What are the limits? +
Public tools accept up to 100 MB and 30 minutes per file. Cloud transforms and audio analysis share a daily allowance of 60 input minutes or 30 jobs per shared network, whichever is reached first. Users on the same IPv4 address or IPv6 /64 share this allowance. Each workflow step counts separately. Daily budgets reset at midnight UTC. Signed-in workspace limits differ.
Will processing always improve the recording? +
No. Listen to the result and keep the original. Processing can introduce artifacts or change the sound without solving the underlying issue.
